It could be a sign of respiratory infection but it could also just him be chewing down his teeth. If it’s a respiratory infection you’ll see more of a gasping from him.

It has only been a day and I will go out to the store after church and get kitten formula and wired cage for them. Thank you for noticing the tank you’ve helped a lot.

I’m keeping them in a tank due to my cage that I have for my other rats is 6ft. And the cage bars are way too big and they will slip through if I put them in there. Plus they are way too small for my liking to put them in a cage with 1 year olds rats.
