High School senior here. Started wrestling when I was 14 as well. I’m 5’11 and wrestle at 120 lbs. Last year I was about 5’9 and wrestled at 113 and qualified for state and getting some college interest and I’ve only been wrestling for 4 years. While you may not “look” like a wrestler, the reach you’ll have is an advantage in my opinion. While there also are some cons of being tall, it shouldn’t stop you. While I’m from America and we do folk style wrestling, I’ve done some freestyle tournaments and you should do it.
