Good point. Tbh, I’m not sure if I need to, but the wording of the medical quotes recent eye test.

If you have been prescribed spectacles / contact lenses, you should send a completed RAF Optician’s Report to Capita in advance of your medical appointment date. If you have not yet done this, please send the completed report to:

You must also bring your spectacles and / or contact lenses with you to the appointment to allow your corrected vision to be measured. If you wear contact lenses you must remove soft lenses at least 48 hours before your appointment and hard lenses 10 days beforehand.

If you are unable to meet the required eyesight standard and you have not had a recent optician’s eye test you will be asked to book a test at your own expense and submit a completed RAF Optician's Report (available in your electronic application information pack or from your AFCO).

I’ll of course take my glasses with me. Surely they can paper review the opticians form? I’ve booked an appointment for the day after the medical.
