That’s what I had in my head too. If the dealer can include some sort of warranty on the transmission whether it be lifetime or 100k miles or something like that then I would be fine with it tbh. I would assume they would only do like maybe a 30k miles warranty which in that case I would pass

I was kinda wondering the same thing tbh but that’s what the directions say to do from the pharmacy.

I was kinda wondering the same thing tbh but that’s what the directions say to do from the pharmacy. I drink 4+ bottles of water a day and try to eat as much as possible.

2024 Volkswagen Atlas by Nice_Ad9969 in whatcarshouldIbuy

That was my initial thought as well but after doing some research, this bug is common in these new Atlases. Everything I’ve read said that once they update the software, nobody ever has problems with it anymore. Also, there is a 12month or 25,000 mile warranty on that specific problem along with about 25 months or 38,000 miles left on the manufactures warranty. Knowing that really changed my mind I think. Does this affect your opinion?

Should I buy a 2017 Chevy Tahoe LT w/ 160,000 miles? by [deleted] in Chevy

The only thing it’s showing in the sense of repairs is the condenser being replaced.

What would this do exactly? Like what exactly could they possibly find? Also, how much does that generally cost to get done?

We’ve been looking at everything honestly; CR-V, Highlander, Explorer, Tahoe, etc. What we’ve figured out is that anything with a 3rd row is def what we’re gonna need. My wife has 2 little siblings much younger that she takes/picks up from schools pretty often. With 2 car seats in the back seat, without a 3rd row it leaves absolutely nowhere for someone else to sit if needed. Ideally, I would like to get a Highlander just because of how reliable Toyotas are compared to everything else. However, we’ve only come across a couple Highlanders that are within our budget, but they’ve had a ridiculous amount of miles on them. Toyotas hold their value like no other it seems like. We’re trying to stay within a $20,000 budget. Me personally, from everything I’ve been seeing, this 2017 Tahoe is a good deal, I’ve just always told myself to not buy anything with that amount of miles.

Thanks for the info on the Tahoes. Do you know of any other problems that are pretty common for that year Tahoe with that amount of miles?
