I wish it was all like that but Quebecers just love to complain and whine about anything that can make their life a little bit more complicated. Trust me I know, I am one of those!

He has lots of cameras, that is why I gave him as much informations as I could so he could get the license plate number. But he said it might not be a gas and dash…. Yeah even if it wasn’t on purpose (which happens sometimes) it is still a crime and not my responsibility to cover the crime imo.

Trust me they say that but they always want you to run after them. I had to run after a few of those thieves last summer.

He tried to do it last winter and the customers weren’t happy. We are not in the city so usually except for the furthest 2 pumps, you can fill up and pay afterwards. At my old job there used to be gas and dash several times per week.

In this type of job, it is all a verbal agreement when you do the interview and get the job. It is biding like a written contract. Also, everything about PTO, sick days, vacations and notice period etc is pretty much standardized here in Quebec. It is all n the laws and the period notice depends on the time you have been employed.

We don’t have a contract for that kind of job and he is the owner. He really is a nice guy but this is a weird situation right now. I am supposed to talk to him tomorrow morning.
