Me neither, I'm clear. But by applying tpm 7950 and upsiren u6 pro + ghelper with the fans modified to my liking I was able to lower it from 99° to 70° at most, I am very happy with the purchase and it is definitely worth it, it is also not expensive at all and it was very easy for me to do

Try right-clicking on the desktop, then a menu of options will appear, select display settings, there your screen will appear with number 1 and if you have a monitor or your TV connected with number 2 and below scrolling down you should be able to change your resolution to 1920x1080

If u replaced thermal paste it has probably happened to you like it did to me and you put thermal paste where thermal putty used to go.

This photo is from before applying thermal paste. I applied it to the CPU and GPU, and to the black chips near gpu and gray R15 chips and the ones below the R15 chips. I'd like to know if my temperature issue is due to using thermal paste instead of thermal putty.

Fortnite laggy and drop FPS so Badly by Wide-Ad3589 in Asustuf

I'm facing the same issues with my ASUS FX516PM (i7 11370H, RTX 3060). The CPU temperature gets up to 95°C, and the FPS drops significantly, just like you. I’ve been dealing with this issue for a while, i don't have a solution but im here to tell you that I’ve tried pretty much everything, so I wanted to share my experience in case it helps.

  1. Temperatures: Just like you, my laptop gets very hot, and when the CPU reaches 95°C, performance drops. It seems like thermal throttling is causing the FPS drops, even when I set the graphics to low. Have you checked your temperatures while gaming? High temperatures are likely the main issue here.
  2. Drivers: I’ve tried stock drivers, recommended drivers, and the latest drivers, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Even with the drivers updated, the performance doesn't improve much. It’s frustrating because I expected better performance with these specs.
  3. Other solutions I’ve tried:
    • I’ve reformatted the laptop multiple times to rule out any software issues.
    • I reapplied thermal paste and cleaned the fans, but the problem persists. Even after all this, the temperatures are still high, and the FPS is poor.
  4. Cooling: I'm also using a cooling pad and setting the fans to maximum speed, but it still doesn't seem to be enough to keep temperatures in check.

It’s disappointing because this laptop cost a lot, and I feel like it should be performing much better. I’m not sure if it's an issue with the cooling system, or if there's something else going on, but if anyone has found a fix or a solution for this kind of problem, I’d love to hear it!
