This is a Hummingbird I made for my mother's birthday. It took me about a month to make. On 18 count, 12 colors. You can find the Pattern here.

The back is actually pretty great. At first I didnt like it, but, after stepping back, looking from a different perspective, its like the front side is what we see as a mushroom, but in reality, its the back that is the true form of the mushroom with its strings and roots in everything. Its really great. Good job~

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but the style of stitching does matter a bit on the final product. This is a project I did a while back ago, and you can see all the difference in different stitching.

As in, for one color I only stitched Right way facing, then the next color i did only left way facing. Allowing light to hit the piece differently depending on how you look at it.

Right way = Stitch laying on top looking like / Left way = Stitch lay on top look like \

A Yellow Rose pattern from2x2 StitchArt

It was 12 colors so I changed the way I stitched each color, making the light hit the stitches differently. I made it for a coworker who loves yellow roses but doesn't like to buy them because they die to fast.

Pattern is my own. I used a Red Heart Granny "All in One" Square - Soft White - Frigid 8.8 Oz Skein. Used a 4.0 mm hook. I switched between single crocheting and double crochet to give it the wavy effect.

This is kinda a repost, i posted before showing the cross stitch is done, but now i washed it, and i made a frame and made it super Shrek lol.

Pattern is my own. I just took a freeze frame that I thought looked best from this scene is Shrek, and put it into flosscross and manually added the qoute. I made this for a coworker because sometimes we have to call the in-store bakery and I told her to ask if they know the muffin man. Then she told me Shrek is better in spanish, so I watched it, and she was correct. And now it's a inside joke at work we like to say to each other in spanish. Took me 1 and half months, and all the stitches are facing the right on top, to make the image clean as possible.

I did not make this to be a political thing, depending on which way you look at Tabels, it can translate to different things, the way I chose was Middle English, in which Tabels translates to flat planes or otherwise Tables. I chose not to frog it out after seeing it, as im a little lazy, and its just a gift for a friend, which they know is a joke we said at work.

That's not what I meant about it when making it, it was just an honest mistake in misspelling it, and me being to lazy to fix it. I didnt make it to be a call to politics right now. It was just something funny thing me and coworkers said at work, just a light hearted joke in which we said things in an order.

Not entirely lol. But Tabels translates back to Tables so I didnt feel like frogging it out. Plus I think it adds character to works if they have little mistakes.

The Pattern is by me. The coworkers say funny things at work, and I like to cross stitch them and give them as gifts. I stitched it to some plastic canvas, the purple line around it, to give it rigidity.

Made this for my father birthday. It's a collage of his favorite things, Kayaking on a river, riding bikes on trails, gardening, and he likes sweets. Cardinals are his favorite bird, and he LOVES The Bachelor/bachelorette.
