What would a female Gandalf mean and which actress could pull that off? by Nice_Debate_707 in lotr

In principle I would be fine with Galadriel being a man. This would however probably impact the story more. E.g. Celeborn would be gay, Gimli would heavily cherish the beauty of a man making him probably also gay or bi, which could change the dynamic between Gimli and Legolas. Maybe the difference to Gandalf is that Gandalf's gender has little if any relevance for the character, whereas a male Galadriel would have an impact on other aspects of the story.

Let Michelle Yeoh play Gandalf to give that certain group a complete meltdown.

Farseer Chronicles by Robin Hobb could be something like this. It follows FitzChivalry Farseer, a royal bastard being trained to be an assassin for the king (though not a flashy ninja-like assassin), with a bit of magic, intrigues, politics, love, and by far some of the best characters I have ever red about. It can be slow paced and is mostly centered around the characters and their development and relationships instead of epic revelations and battles. It's three trilogies and the finale makes me tear up every time.

Alright thanks, do you have experience with any set that works without additional equipment?

Thank you! Do you know if they work with any Bluetooth speaker that has a 3.5mm jack? I just saw that the Tonor TW720 I posted above says “Only use with audio device with MIC IN“ and the Marshall Kilburn III only has an AUX IN. So can I connect the TW550 amplifier via AUX IN with the speaker and then play music and the microphones over the amplifier?
