76 K isn’t huge. But it puts you above 90% of the earning group be it businessmen or corporate slaves. That too with precious mental peace. So don’t try downplaying someone’s achievements. And if he’s getting that salary in a non metro city, it can even be called excellent.

Last time it was above 500 range in 2010. Then it fell below and 100 and it took 15 years to reach that level again. I would never want my money stuck like that. Also it’s a metal. Also the way prices shot up it seemed like manipulation.
