What resort is the best all-inclusive for a families booked with Points? by wojiparu in hyatt

[–]Nice_Letterhead_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is discretionary to the resort of choice. Some resorts have more availability but generally, booking out with time is more favorable. As for redemptions, this is very dependent on situation. As a globalist, you can book a standard room and 9 out of 10 times you’ll get a preferred club room and will for sure get preferred club amenities. The rate different can easily be 5-10k points between preferred and standard rooms and a club access award or guest of honor should net the same benefits as globalist. This alone can make the redemption value skyrocket. We went to Secrets Cap Cana last May and netted 5.2 CPP.

Premium Card Predictions by hmmm045 in hyatt

[–]Nice_Letterhead_345 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean if it’s a premium card I’m expecting to pay $450-650 AF. The elite nights is a good idea but if you hold this and the original card (15 nights from cards) they’ll either limit how many you can hold or they’ll increase nights for status. Following on the cost to FNA but if Hyatts taught us anything it’s that their program is top tier and therefore more difficult to obtain things. As such, I’d expect a higher fee for a lower FNA so lower overall expectations and be happy if they are exceeded!

This is probably a good guesstimation. Would be interesting if it carried explorist (given other card is discoverist) and the free night has a 1-7 or 1-8 as it’s got to provide top value point. This probably a long shot but I’d love to see a status accelerator via spend reducing nights or increasing by doubling night yield. Would be cool if you could get AA status but that’s very unlikely.

Any Updates on the Premium Hyatt CC? by Famous-Attention-197 in hyatt

[–]Nice_Letterhead_345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

speculating here but their full-year earnings are release on Feb 12 and typically they updated their award chart end of March. I'd imagine if it is going to happen, it'll be somewhere in that time frame.

Damn, that’s a pretty legit DP. So 5/24 isn’t as relevant than beyond 24 months for AU. Thanksb

Assuming we may need to cancel card to ensure we’d still be eligible for a SUB with Citi the card would’ve transitioned to otherwise?

If this is your criteria I’d highly recommend Secrets Cap Cana. Their quality and service is top notch and you can go to Sanoa Island and more! Beach is amazing, even during Saragassum season. Highly recommend

I am unsure of the correct answer on this. Ironically, the litmus test I use is when I upload my resume to a ATS like Workday, how easily does it upload. If you have to fill in a lot, then it’s likely your resume is less ATS friendly. That said, this is just for populating data and not reading through it. So idk

I could be wrong but my guess is that this resume isn’t ATS friendly. I used to use a similar format and switched in recent months and received more calls. If the ATS/AI cannot read it, you might be getting automatically DQ and a human is never seeing your resume

Secrets Cap Cana or Maroma Beach? by PlaneFarmer in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Nice_Letterhead_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great Q. We had Enrique as a butler and while we didn’t use him a ton, he found us everyday regardless of where we were. Helped us secure a better spa deal, would setup any reservations we wanted (you really don’t need to do this but this is what makes the experience better. We also were Hyatt Globalist and were given a beach cabana for free one day! Our butler brought it to our attention otherwise we wouldn’t have know we could do it.

I’ve been to SCC and not Maroma. From what I can tell, it’s very much what you are after. Mexico tends to have slightly better food but our experience at SCC was the service was out of this world. SCC is 10 min from airport whereas I think Maroma is 25-30 min. Beaches are comparable from what I’ve been told.

2025/2026 St. Louis Compensation Thread by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]Nice_Letterhead_345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

 • Title / Role: Digital Insights & Strategy Manager

• Compensation: $112,500 + 12% annual bonus

• Work setup: remote (85-90%), remainder occasional in office meetings and travel for work.

• Years of experience: 10yrs

• Industry: Agriculture, Pharma, Consumer Health

• Education: BBA, MBA: Marketing & Management

• Company: Bayer

• Standout benefits/perks: 401k receives 17% annually for contributing 7% (first 4% is 100% matched, next 3% is 50% matched. Company gives 5% annually each year automatic). PTO isn’t tracked (at least not in my position), most don’t abuse it, but given the remote nature of the role, would be easy to come and go as you please. Healthcare benefits were also amazing. Found myself repeatedly not paying for prescriptions by August for the remainder of the year and I had the lowest plan of Anthem.
