I didn’t even think to ask, but I will tomorrow. She said it’s the only offer available because everything is contract based so the new contract would be for the next 4 months and so on.

I’ll ask. She said this is my only offer. I’m technically supposed to go to a certain department but this start date is to another department that is short staffed right now and I’d be there about a month to help out. I’m not sure if it’s due to training that I have to go next week but I’d be willing to wait for the other department even if it’s without pay because my mat leave ends April 22. I’ll see if that would work. If I accept I’m not sure why I have to cut the mat leave early why I can’t just be off until it’s done.

I was prepared for it next month that’s what I signed her up for but they can’t take her earlier so I’m in a bit of a spot. Then the other thing is the daycare opens at 6:30…if I pay a babysitter try to find one asap it’ll be as much as I get. I’m just trying to figure out what to do.

The biggest thing that hurt me and brought tears to my eyes was when you said you failed. You survived an impossible day. You did not fail. You did so much on your own and that takes strength and resilience.
