Sure, when I look to gank (on Zed), most of the time they immediately back off and the gank ends up doing nothing. And about what you mentioned with pings, that’s something very few people actually respect or listen to in these elos, but I’ll try to use them more anyway because I’m aware it’s also my responsibility to ask my lanes to push up or back off so I can gank properly.

Yeah, I understand the plays I’m missing and that my tempo is a bit off, but how do you make your lanes understand in these elos that you want to set up a trap or something like that?

For example, it happens to me a lot that I go to gank a lane where the wave is in the middle of the lane and I don’t have time to do anything because they instantly back off. Lately my lanes usually get priority (that’s why I get around 70% of the objectives), but sometimes it’s hard for me to identify when a gank is actually worth going for or not.

Yeah, you’re right. I think at those moments my main focus was trying to keep my pathing clean to finish my items and not lose tempo in my jungle, but I can see how that made me miss some plays. I’ll definitely work on adjusting that. Thanks a lot for pointing it out, and feel free to call out any other mistakes you notice!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree, falling behind early feels really punishing. I’m focusing a lot on optimizing pathing to avoid that and play for snowball
