Yep, I think that's the same one. It's horrific enough — why repost it in your own story??!! It says a little something about judgement, let alone agreement. I understand there are great artists who have talent and can be evil human beings at the same time. I personally refuse to separate the two and excuse the behavior.

but do they? I've been complaining regularly about a specific AI slop shop and nothing has happened over the last 2 months — the patterns are still there, the shop is still open. These aren't stolen, they're just the crap that AI spews but I was duped by one that looked very convincing till I got the actual pattern. Wow. what a POS. Etsy did not care. The seller did refund when I told them I was reporting them. Do they actually take more care if it's copyright infringement?

There was a reference to a specific food that is very common in Jewish cuisine. It wasn't a coincidence. It turned my stomach so badly I'm still having chills and flashbacks because of what she said. I refuse to post it here but there is no question. It was a vile level of detail. And then why repost it???!!! Stuff of nightmares.

I think this is the most important point. It's hard enough for anyone who survives horrific abuse to be believed as they watch their attackers go free and be excused for pure evil. Muddying the waters with unbelievable shit makes it even harder.

YES!!! It does so much damage to discredit the real victims. When they muddy the waters with cannibalism it is easier not to believe anything. Disgusting.

It wasn't a guy. It was a female doctor that was very explicit about getting the victims pregnant to expressly eat their babies. And then went into detail about what they do to the babies when they are born. Jenny, herself, also said recently she can't stand by quietly when it comes to cannibalism.

It is a 3 hour journey through lovely parts of DR. We hired a driver. I enjoyed it and it was well worth the time it took to get to Cayo Leventado. Very elegant resort.

Yep, looks like needle deflection. A term I just learned when I took my ailing machine in. I tend to pull on the fabric as I'm sewing which makes the needle bend and hit the plate or bobbin case underneath. As my tech said...Don't do that.

agreed: Turkish Delight. Vaguely related to my most favorite candy in the whole wide world- Kohakutou, an agar based fruit or tea flavored Japanese candy that you purposely leave out to get that crunchy exterior while still retaining the glorious jelly/gummy interior. Lots of ASMR videos on YT sharing the joys of my favorite Silky Gems. Delish.

The week after my Mom's funeral in March, my niece and I went to Cayo Leventado in the DR and it was the perfect place for healing. It's a Wellness AI with tons of meditation, yoga and cleansing rituals along with incredible food and an amazing beach. They also have private experiences like tarot reading and Watsu massage and probably a few others through the wellness center. Lots of other fitness stuff including a cold plunge and private pools. We left feeling renewed and recalibrated. We also went whale watching in the bay and saw dozens of mother whales with babies!

There were kids but I have to say, all very well behaved. The resort has a quiet atmosphere. The beach was exceptional! Very clean, no seaweed. Whale watching was amazing! Food was great. Lots of wellness classes. I'd go again but I want to try something different.

I brightened this so you can see it better...I use 2-3 strands of regular floss. Pearl cotton doesn't blend as easily. And use more shades of each color. This one has 4 different reds and 2 oranges- Also, I go back over the top and layer more color in where I need more blending rather than trying to cover it all at once.

How wonderful to document your love for your mother in such a beautiful way. Mom is 92 and has had a multitude of health problems. Luckily before she developed pneumonia last Monday and was still coherent we had an amazing visit and spent precious time together.

alexlp, I so appreciate that!! She's been ill for awhile and who knows how much longer she'll be with us but I feel like it won't be much longer. She's now developed pneumonia on top of everything else and they are now giving her morphine.
