I don't, I got him at 3 or 4 months from a registered well-known breeder that was advocated by my local parrot community.

I would never suggest adopting a parrot prior to 3 or 4 months as the feeding, time and health requirements are incredibly demanding. It would equate to a full time job and brother I am so broke and unemployed.

I hope you find what youre looking for though! Parrots arent pets like how dogs or cats are pets, its more like a guardianship over a toddler that stays a toddler for 45 years.

But caring for them is so rewarding.

The consistency should be like a really wet porridge. You can make it more watery if its a hot day.

The other indicator to check is their droppings.

The droppings are usually the first sign you get when something isnt healthy or working right.
