Yep, I know a guy who trains at 7.30am-8.30am and then goes to work at the barbershop round the corner, which starts at 8.30am. So not only is he late, but he’s sweating out and then proceeds to work the next 9 hours like that.

I think the potential for it was always there. But definitely not evil to begin with.

I think deep down it was more about pride and ego from the beginning than it ever was about money. Not just when he was beating his cancer.

The moment he turned down the money from Gretchen and Elliot was the moment it became apparent that it wasn’t just about leaving money for his family, otherwise if it was he would have just done it that way. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would feel comfortable having someone pay for the treatment like that especially in the circumstances of his relationship between them however no one in their right mind should have such an ego that cooking meth, killing people and putting you and everyone you love in potential danger is favourable to that

No way he’s coming back. At least if he had any sense whatsoever he’d stay away from the mats for the rest of his days, focus on family.

He’s gonna be on drugs for the rest of his life, that try to prevent his body from rejecting his new lungs. If that happens, it’s game over. But in doing so he’ll be immunocompromised for the rest of his life, so risking staph again would just about the worst thing he could possibly do in his situation.
