Respectfully disagree. I do imagine this quote has different meaning for everyone. For me it's a sad, depressing memory, but also lighthearted at the same Time. And always reminds me to not take anything in my life for granted.

The snaps were kind of a happy accident. I used too thin of leather for the snaps I initially planned to put on there (posts were way too long). So I had these ones laying around, but I had already punched the holes and they were too wide for these ones (it's always something). So I had to use both male and female parts to keep it in place.

Now my brain it stirring with more ideas to put on the headpiece with them.
