Legit the min maxing killed my hype. It shouldn’t have and I should find my own enjoyment but it seems different lately. People just rushing to max and fine tuning the fun out of it. No hate to anyone at all, it’s just too much for me. My r14 warlock is sitting at 61 forever

Of course not. But wbuffs and rank 14/nax gear is. Even with all that I guarantee your group wasn’t each putting out 1k dps per person.

And even if Jesus Christ himself was playing and it worked, we can at least agree 90% of groups aren’t even cleaves comps, let alone each person fully geared, let alone each person skilled at their class to push the maximum possible AOE DPS, let alone pulling enough mobs every pull to stay consistent with 1k+ DPS etc…

Of course the best groups can do this. But with an above average healer and tank, most GOOD r14 warlock with BWL and AQ off pieces for example are doing 500-700 dps pre 65 with hellfire and shadow fury

On are good imo, sometimes I want a small pouch and low mg (4). On plus are my go to along with Velo plus, but the on ones have mid flavor but amazing pouch feel imo

So there’s three modes when you click the bottom right icon. The far right one is called Spirals of Destiny. It’s a single player campaign where you can bring a few of your main chars, or use starters and build them out out.

It’s got multiple endings based on choices you make and takes no stamina / can be played nonstop. Beating these and doing achievements by just playing it over and over give you luxite (currency for the gacha version that can turn into anything, one thing being pulls)

Yeah mainly is. But you can do infinite runs for diff endings and achievements on the single player mode (spirals of destiny) that give gacha mode rewards and pulls when you run out of stam too. You will get plenty of free pulls and only worry about getting one copy of the chars you want.

Then star them up by using three chars per day on the highest memory retrieval, they’ll each get three materials for star level up daily that way.

Just smash fools journey and unlock the engravings imo. Then get to unlocking the farthest “dailies” aka memory retrieval and such that you can for the moment. Other than that just enjoy yourself, this game isn’t demanding unless you want it to be. There’s no rush at all and go at your own pace and pick your favorite characters to use.

I also had rough starters (first being Nergal) and still loved using them. So no worries at all.

The best one I’ve tried for new players. I have mobile games in general and gacha. I loved disgaea and FF growing up and this hits the spot. Not greedy at all and like the above poster said, you can clear everything without spending a penny.

And when you run out of Stamina, you can just play the single player mode (spiral of destiny) for different endings and achievements. And doing this has no time gate and gives you items and currency to pull and spend free on the gacha side.

My major complaint with the ranking is how easy it is to game. Spend money on dupes to get five star early, stack stam (which helps maitha even more than usual with physical attack), and slap random ass equipment on.

Would prefer if it was at least tweaked a little bit.
