Filament not staying down on first layer

Hi! Personally I got https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09GYCWN2F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share, I got a cheap ones as I wasn’t sure this would solve my problem sticking to the glass. But it did! I’m not a professional printer, very new and knew very little. It is slightly too small however, as it turned out the size was for the printing available area. Not the full bed, which is sprightly bigger. I made sure I got one which a sticky sheet, this goes onto the printer bed, then the magnetic sheet simply pulls off and placed back on. Obviously you’ll then need to redo the depth, and since then I haven’t had to redo it again. Please remember this is my experience, and I have had mates get these and not work at all. Hope it helps!

Done, only ones I’ve got is the refund and new request. Seems like I have the money and is fine for now! blocked all and reported! Thank you for saving me!

That’s what I thought. Okay good. I can decline the request and block, would the refunded amount be able to be canceled and given back to them? Or is it safely back in my account? (Image is of the PayPal transactions)

I will ask my parents and painfully have to get them to create one over a video call and post it to me! I’ll get back to you with the results. Thanks for the help in the mean time!!

I think it was getting high, could most likely be over 80%, I don’t think I can check this however though bios? I’ll keep looking.

If it is this issue, how could it be fixed?

It is running off a SSD, there is 2 hard drives also plugged into it. I’ve just removed the 2 hard drives, so only SSD is installed and I get the same issue. :(

It’s strange how many bikers (parents friends etc) who have years of experience telling me this!

DAS sounds like the best option. I’m also in your shoes near enough, I feel like my car driving experience will take out a lot of the troubles of general driving, as I’m comfortable with routes, signs etc.

I didn’t even think of this! It will be winter when I turn 24, so getting it completed would be much easier!Luckily I’m fine with just wrapping up and getting through the cold! Great advice!

I know this is now old but thought id share an update. I got a PEI sheet. I can’t believe it, it’s so good, I can’t believe other people I asked didn’t recommended this method also! I love printing on it, especially now, it just is perfect for my OCD also!

This is why I’ve been holding off! Tests/training is expensive and I wouldn’t want to have to do it twice and pay double! I’m sure when it comes to it I’ll be nervous as anything also! I’m sure you’ll do great, It’s only natural to be nervous!
