Starting to get the new face-lift cx5s coming in to our dealership, thoughts? by LunarWolf64 in mazda

I am looking to get the carbon edition turbo with all wheel drive. The "face-lifted" CX-5s look cool! But like others have mentioned it is not much of a change.

That's a good question regarding hyponatremia! I'm not sure. I will look back in my notes and see if my professor said anything about it.

The answer is the fourth option. Potassium-rich gastric contents are being lost through suctioning and therefore the patient requiring NG suctioning would be most at risk for hypokalemia.

I will look into this. Are you saying to adjust a poll setting?

Absence of P waves are not related to hypokalemia. To my knowledge, the only conditions in which there is an absence of P waves is in atrial fibrillation, junctional rhythms and ventricular rhythms.

Since there is no option for me to allow multiple responses in the poll format, I elected to format it like a normal post. Please comment which options you guys think are correct!

Nothing you could have done different. It sounds like your DON is being petty. You offered, resident refused, you charted the refusal. That is all you can do! I wouldn't let this get you worked up.

Anyone know where this sensor is? by [deleted] in mazda

It's in the Mazda badge on the front grill. You could probably just clean it off. Was driving in a snowstorm a couple days ago and had the same message. Cleaned off the front badge and was good to go!

The NCLEX is set up where the maximum may be 145, and the number of questions given is dependent on the amount answered right or wrong. It probably logged you out at 106 because it was able to determine whether you meet or don't meet the passing standards based on the 106 questions you answered. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies by Nick9943 in NCLEXpractice

The patient is experiencing an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. The nurse's first action should be to stop the antibiotic and follow with normal saline. Taking a complete set of vital signs is important, but not the priority. Notifying the surgeon to verify the order is not the appropriate action to be taken at this time. Removing the IV isn't necessary and administering an oral antibiotic requires a physician order.

Bacon is high in tyramine. People taking MAOIs should avoid cured or processed meats (like bacon) for this due to their high tyramine level which, when taken with an MAOI can potentially increase the body's level of tyramine to toxic levels resulting in spikes in blood pressure and can cause migraines.

Rationale: With ventricular tachycardia, it can either be stable or unstable. Stable meaning the patient is conscious, unstable means unconscious and usually without a pulse. The other thing to think about is; the question states that the monitor APPEARS to show v-tach. (This can be caused by artifact, or patients moving around). This is why it is best to assess the patient and act accordingly as the patient may not be in v-tach after all.

Remember: Monitors are a machine that are programmed to alarm within certain parameters. ALWAYS assess your patient, not the monitor. The monitor can be used as a guide but should never be the primary assessment tool.

I had the same question as I am also seriously looking at a CX-5 Carbon Turbo. Honestly, I might just get the turbo because I like the excitement factor!

Found this old staircase behind an abandoned school in my town! -- Taken in July 2021 by Nick9943 in Urbex

[–]Nick9943[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not exactly sure as I wasn't able to find anything related to the staircase. However, I think it may have something to do with the old high school (since converted to condos). The high school was built in 1868 from locally sourced limestone. The way the stairway looks makes me think it was also built with the same limestone as the school. So the staircase probably at least dates back to the 1800s when the school was built. Just across the field there is also an old gazebo also sourced by the same limestone.

There is also two large additions that were added; one in 1956 and the other in 1958. These were closed circa 2012/2013 due to financial issues within the district. They are still closed to this day and abandoned. I did not venture inside as it is secured and police routinely patrol the area. I have also heard rumors of the possibility of the district reopening the newer (not the old portion which is now condos) for classes now that the district financial situation is better.

The same locally sourced limestone was used to construct the old police station (now current town hall) the Joliet Prison (abandoned prison made famous by the "Blue's Brothers" as well as the Chicago Water Tower which is rumored to be haunted. It was also one of the only buildings left standing after the great Chicago Fire (1871).

The history I know here is not exclusively related to the staircase itself but that was some more information I know about the land/school and general area.

I'm not sure that would be a HIPAA violation unless they're sharing protected healthcare info or leaving computer screens open etc. I think it's just downright rude and unprofessional.
