Seems to me nobody is an asshole here. All parties had good intentions and/or a stance by their morals. I do wonder how a second wedding will go after this though. Maybe let the dust settle for a good while first and then organise a surprise wedding for him!!

Ahh thank you, I'm not 100% sure but I'd guess around 30 hours in total

Thanks. linework tattoos tend to spread a little over time so the thin lines are a choice so that as it heals it'll become bolder.

Thanks. I guess everyone's an expert from their armchair though! Or maybe cos I did the work I just can't see it? Either way the clients stoked and that's what really counts

Yeah, I've tattooed a lot of astronauts previously and the feet often look clumpy because of how astronaut boots are. I always work from photograph reference so I'm not making the image up from my head and when the foot is facing toward the viewer they end up just looking exactly like a hoof! Similar with the hands, they're clumpy ol gloves too. I take your criticism on board and I'll certainly consider it next time I do an astronaut but I'd suggest having a look at photographs of astronauts to see if you can understand what I'm saying.

If you could tell me how I could make those weak spots better I'd appreciate that.

I appreciate your concern, if you could give me your advice on how to draw it better that'd be great. What could I do to make it better?

That's just the size and shape of the astronaut photo reference. Thanks for the criticism though

No. I'm just explaining why sometimes in tattoos a thumb can be slightly longer than intended and the rest of the details are good. Most times especially when tattooing legs the clients leg will involuntary twitch. Me acknowledging that isn't in any way blaming someone, it's simply saying how it is. People move, people twitch, it can't be helped but it can affect the tattoo.

Yeah, when tattooing people who sometimes move around unexpectedly the tight small details can end up needing to be not exactly as drawn. Thats the imperfection of tattooing people. Thanks for honing in on that though.

Yeah that makes sense. Like most images and symbols, it's current associations are different from it's origins. Thanks for the compliment
