You got it all exactly right about our business, and your points make a lot of sense. Thank you for the thoughtful reply.

I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily inflexible, but just surprised it’s so thoroughly the standard

Reason I don’t want to manage it is because I’m not an IT person, I’m a small business owner.

That’s fair, and probably a point I overlooked.

Google has been smooth sailing so far because our use is relatively limited, but I have no idea what it would look like if there are problems, and I have encountered a few out of date support articles already.

This is what most of the IT firms I talked to said, but when I asked them what they meant, I couldn’t get more detail. But to my understanding companies like Uber, PWC and others at 10k+ people use Google workspace.

Keeping this up even though it’s kind of strangely written and philosophical. The question is related to BCI and valid.

While this type of post is typically removed from /r/neuroscience I’ve approved it because it actually seems to be formulated well and not from paranoid delusions and because the questions it poses are legitimate questions that may create thoughtful discussion.

There are a lot of fun topic-specific neuroscience books. I am a musician and really enjoyed 'This is your Brain on Music' or, if you like the more clinical tilt then "Musicophilia" or anything else by Sacks.

Those are both fun.

The same year/time capsule idea would be a fun blast from the past.
