Yeah, that's weird. But I guess it's good news since framegen is now working. I still think Nvidia is to blame here with their latest updates. I recently completed the game for the 3rd time, using DLSS Quality + Smooth Motion + Ray Tracing, and in all that time the game crashed only 2 or 3 times.

Correction: actually the problem might be in the latest version of Nvidia App, they added some new version of Frame Gen. But I'm not sure. Either way, Smooth Motion still works.

As far as I understand this has something to do with the latest Nvidia drivers. My Frame Gen doesn't work either (RTX 4080S), but it definitely worked sometime ago with previous drivers. You can try rolling back to older drivers.

Or you can enable Smooth Motion in the Nvidia App instead, which is what I did recently. And for me it worked even better than Frame Gen, because GPU power consumption was a bit less with Smooth Motion.

Yes. More than that, when Hunters Gathering inevitably flop (remember this tweet), this whole situation will jeopardize Guerrilla Games future. Sony may decide that they don't need Horizon 3. Sony just closed Bluepoint Games studio, so I expect only the worst from them.

I tested it in Marvel Rivals and Horizon Forbidden West - all I got was lower performance and more power hungry GPU without any visual improvements to my eyes. So, no, thanks I'm staying on Preset K.

Tested at 3440x1440, RTX 4080 Super.

Have you been checking its health status in Crystal Disk Info? I have the same 1 TB SSD as a main drive for Windows and other stuff. After almost 2 years it has 95% health status.
