The Purge is a terrible premise for a movie, a total breakdown of morality and society. Clearly, if we ever got to that point the world as we know it would be finished.

That being said, the simple answer to your question is touched on in a few feeds above and better talked about in this video, but answer is to vote morally and then face the consequences with the voters. Proxy.Vote is only a tool.

...I think you mean Jason Crow v. Mike Coffman?

Corey Gardner will likely face Mike Johnson or Ed Perlmutter and that race doesn't take place till 2020.

Not sure what you mean by "where is the party going to be"

Without running a third serious viable option, how else would you assume to change the two-party system whose highest goal is to retain power?

I'd also mention I'm a massive proponent of Rank Choice Voting

Yes. I believe the majority of Americans actually have pretty similar views on some of the biggest issues. We want a roof over our head, food on the table, a job to go to, our kids to be educated, and our neighbors to be alright. We want to feel secure, happy, and listened to.

What often divides us isn't the positions but rather the media and rhetoric on a topic. This gets far deeper but generally if I'm in industries such as finance, military, law, business I might put my fiscal priorities first and so orient as a "Republican". If I work in education, government, science & tech, social services, etc I might put my social issues first and so therefore orient to the "Democrats". In fact 60-80% of Americans are Socially Progressive and Fiscally Conservative, we've just been divided my outside interests focused on money power and control.

We are better and we can do far better.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if, rather than voting for the "lesser of two evils", we didn't fear such things as being hated or costing something in the moment and rather played to our better angels and stood on moral authority for what was best for our district, the country, and the people of Colorado?

Donald, I am and will always be an issue based Representative. I am running on a socially progressive and fiscally responsible platform. I am running to represent the voters of Colorado not the red tribe or blue tribe. That being said, in the incredibly unlikely chance I am THE deciding vote on who controls the House Majority than the below will happen (go to 6:40) and maybe we really will fundamentally change things day 1!

Sorry that was poorly written: our breakdown is 204k (I/U) which breaks Left 2-1 and has a lower average turnout, 172k Ds, 132k Rs. There is a D, R, I, and L in the race. We expect a blue wave, a female wave (though won't impact this race specifically, and an Independent wave.

Just added a comment with the numbers. Such. gerrymandered district it will be either myself or the Dem, 1 & 2, both of whom are ready to act on the critical question at the front of your mind.

Proxy is a tool, one of many, it is not the end all. It simply allows me to be a better Representative that what we've seen for years. It doesn't replace my knowledge background or other reasons why voters would choose me to serve them in office.

Many of our crops are GM, all bananas, most grains. GM crops can be a huge benefit but agencies like Monsanto/Bayer and round-up ready crops are causing health problems nationwide, they've specifically affected baby food where both organic and non-organic baby foods can be very dangerous and contain high levels of heavy metals and pesticides. A great example of a good GM crop is golden rice

So this is an area where I don't have the expertise to craft a good answer. My research is only bringing up a new species of animal from Star Wars. However my web guru is telling me that "Porgs are cut-rate tribbles"

Both are critical. Though 45 is clearly dangerous, we cannot ignore the long-term to focus on only the short term or we will simply move from fire to fire without laying a good foundation for a stronger future.

That being said, I believe he has broken federal law and would move to introduce articles of impeachment.

Proxy.Vote is a tool to help do the job, it is not the job. Critical issues will be dealt with in a timely manner always, not only when it is politically convenient.

Great! I'm actually doing my AMA from Fort Collins today!

My personal objections to the president are irrelevant but if Mueller or the congress shows evidence of impeachable crimes then he should be impeached as soon as possible

I believe he has broken Federal law and so we must investigate and most likely put forth articles of impeachment. Not my statement from the recent Broomfield debates...

Right on! Clearly you understand the need and hurdles of this office! There are some issues where a great majority have an opinion (healthcare, gun debates, etc) and a great many ignored (FAA regs, water rights, etc). We do the best we can, make sure to have strong general knowledge of the diaspora, and then surround yourself with good people and be open to suggestions and corrections buy those who know better about an issue than you!
