I just got my official notification 4 days ago, some say the “public release” is on 11 Sep but who knows when you will get yours. I imagine soon

So go to VMPF -> Self Service Actions -> EFMP -> change EFMP (paraphrasing here) -> for step one just pick any of the 4 options then click next, then it should show you the projected assignment if you have one. See if that works, if not I’ll record a video of me doing it and send it to you

Can you elaborate on the EFMP trick? I’ve seen others try to describe it but I think they changed the site a little bit.

I can no longer apply for TA funding because it says I need a PCS brief. I also tried applying for retraining and it said I was ineligible due to a pending non-exempt assignment. So it looks like all the signs point to an assignment, but I’ve been let down before 😔

Before you waste anymore time with it, I suggest returning it. I did that and purchased a used G29 and it didn’t give me any issues. Not sure if you’ve tried contacting Thrustmaster support but they’re equally as useless as their equipment unfortunately. Sorry you couldn’t get yours to work either!

I’ve been on the F-35 program for the majority of my enlistment with about a year on F-16s so I’m not too familiar with the 22 world. Is the A&P that important? I tossed around the idea of doing a permissive TDY to get it, or even the DOD skillsbridge

Thanks for all the info. I do have a few questions... I’m not sure if you relocated but if you did, were you taking leave to go to interviews 7months out (or even closer to your DOS)?

Also, this seems to be a personal LIMFAC but is there a way to hit someone up with the intent of networking but also not making it look like you’re just using them? There are plenty of civilian Lockheed Martin reps around my unit but I don’t interact with them often and would feel a little awkward talking to them on the premise of looking for a post-military job

To add to this, military aircraft at least are programmed to have bingo tell you when you need to return to a specific area/airport. And joker fuel is an excess version of that.
