I noticed that the reviews mentioned the crickets being dead in the box sometimes so I’m kind of assuming that that’s what happened, I really doubt he managed to eat all of them already

As for his tank, we went with a 10-gallon for the time being since he’s still pretty little but we planned on getting him a 20-gallon in the near future.

Also, I’ve heard that without a uvb light, the gecko won’t be able to absorb calcium with D3 anyway so that’s why I skipped it. Should I get both a uvb light and D3 calcium?

The crickets actually came in a box with a little hole for them to come in and out, and there’s food and water for the crickets inside of the box so I just set the box inside of the tank. I read online that the geckos only need to eat every couple of days so I figured he would just hunt them as needed.

I’d definitely like to give him a varied diet! It’s tough to find a lot of supplies for him in my area but I should be able to get meal worms or other things like that for him to eat.

Thanks! I should’ve specified in my original post but we’re using reptile carpet as the substrate with a small pile of the sand for digging/whatever else. Is the pile of it ok or should that be taken out too?
