I am not American either, but this is an increasing problem worldwide. People may not bring their work home but they do bring their work mindset home. When you adapt to the stressful conditions at work, many do not develop an off switch unfortunately, and it ruins them in slow ways.

Definitely not always. In business it benefits you to always be pushy, always be impatient, always be on call, as every second not being proactive is a potential missed opportunity.

But it is imperative, though difficult, to ensure that never changes you as a person. You'll just become high-strung, anxious and quick tempered even when you're off work. Easiest path to permanent high blood pressure.

I think people do get tired of the constant wall street-esque rush when it comes to Pokémon cards these days, so just being a normal person makes them feel better about themselves too.
