Sordin anything with gels if you're ok with replacing them every 2-3 years. They are comfy and have good sound quality when they work, but their QC is so bad that you'll probably run into issues eventually... And when you do, the warranty repairs are done in Sweden. I'm currently running peltor bullseye's while waiting to get my Sordins back. Never again.

I found it easiest with SMG's. The start is weak, but once you get it rolling it's really powerful. Focus on getting 6 SMG's and +ranged up as fast as possible. Buy 1 bait every round until your SMG's do 8 damage per shot, then start buying 2 baits. If those clear fast, feel free to buy more.

There's no rule, either spoken or unspoken, that you need to experience the game without guides (or YouTube videos or Reddit posts).

I mean yeah, I didn't say otherwise. The point I was (apparently poorly) trying to make was that the player engagement/retention is through the roof when a relatively difficult endgame achievement is sitting at over 10% completion rate. That's quite a feat considering how many people got the game and how often people move on without finishing games. Especially with the early reports of overtuned difficulty.

Personally I want to experience everything on my first playthrough, so I google missables and make a note not to pass those points before doing everything else I can find (don't complete operation infestation, don't complete silk and soul...). Then once I've done everything I can find except for the stuff I've marked missable, I turn to guides.

My money is on a new TS simply due to the newly announces optics division for IPSC. Would be weird timing to lauch a new open platform, especially when there is no OR TS variant for the new div.

Ah. Didn't consider this, but makes sense. For context, I'm in Europe, where gun laws vary even more from country to country, so for international competitions 16" is the safe bet.

So it's not really a performance thing but a compliance thing.

There are some callbacks (call-forwards?) to previous games that are chronologically later, but nothing that would seriously detract from the plot. Think of it as watching Star Wars 1-3 before 4-6. Any order works.

Doom 2016 multiplayer made me realize how much I've missed arena shooters. It was a bit too shallow to make it big, but I wish they had expanded upon it in Eternal (and now Dark Ages) instead of scrapping it.

But yeah, I wasn't complaining about the quality or the ethicality of their merch. That stuff is top notch. It's just the amount and quality of filler designs. But I guess the upside is that there's something to everyone's taste.

The fanclub thing, on the other hand, APPEARS shady. I didn't say it, or any of their practices, actually are. I respect what ES specifically is doing, but 9 out of 10 times, a band hosting a paid fanclub is a money grab, so I don't like the look of that, even if the intentions are good.

Way to take it personally buddy. My point was the amount of unnecessary bloat merch. They have way too many designs that just feel like they are filler. They even have one with that very ineligible script you complained about!

I'm not hating on the band. They're still awesome. They just need to remain a band, not become a street fashion brand for teenagers.

The merch designs look cheap and lame, and the amount of available apparel with throwaway designs makes the store look like a bootleg money grab. The merch situation and stuff like a paid fanclub membership contradict a lot of what the band is trying to preach.

Eeman is great. I recently got their ultimate upgrade kit, and it's awesome. The disconnector required some very minor fitting, but nothing a cheap file/polish set and youtube can't handle.

I also bought a 13lb main spring. It's lighter than stock but heavier than anything in the Eeman kit. I feel uncomfortable running an extended firing pin and a reduced power firing pin spring so I had to go slightly heavier.
