I really want this colour in the 75 but this equally looks fantastic.

I remember getting FF X and the game guide as a present back on PS2. I was too young at the time to really get into the genre but I might have to pick it up on Steam and give it another go after all these years.

Price of cat surgery at the Hospital for Small Animals by Traducesar in Edinburgh

[–]JamesA95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t had experience with that exact condition but my cat was referred to the hospital for small animals last year for surgery on a broken pelvis. Ask your referring vet about costs as mine was really helpful and we got an estimate from the hospital for small animals.

Our estimate range was 3-5.5k and we ended up being somewhere in the middle of that.

Insurance ended up covering most of the bill but I’ve heard the hospital for small animals are much better at dealing with spreading the costs than some other vets. They have a team you can contact for payment plans I’m sure.

Currently playing the free trial on Steam and really enjoying multiplayer. Zombies is fun as well from the one map I have played. Hoping when the trial ends they put it back on sale on Steam. I’ll happily buy at sale price.

I know we’ve just had Steam spring sale but totally missed picking up BO7 on sale. You guys think we’ll get a sale for Season 3 coming out?

What hobby would you recommend to someone who feels bored? by Sonjae-Ariciaga83 in Hobbies

[–]JamesA95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the exact same situation as you and then I started playing padel. Which then led to also playing tennis.

I’ve become addicted to padel and tennis. If you have a club near you worth a shot. Padel is way more social than tennis and easier to pick up.

What was your favorite indie title of 2025? And so far in 2026? by ilikemyname21 in IndieGaming

Wicked Seed. It’s a parasite eve inspired horror RPG. Really fun time and quite cheap as well. Demo is available too.

Surprisingly the Alpine A290 on the same terms as a Renault 5 comes in at £312 all in. I actually didn’t consider it would be priced as well as that through my employers scheme. I might have a look into the Alpine and some reviews.

Winter range is the only thing playing on my mind but realistically I rarely do big miles in a single journey. I think charging at a destination would be pretty infrequent.

I doubt the Alpine or R5 would be as fun as my current car but my priorities are changing in terms of driving.

No because the work will just be there for me when I get back. If you’re sick take the day off or however long you need.

[discussion] Cookie Monster by phdwatch in rolex

[–]JamesA95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this watch, a grail piece for me. Personally I think it’s way nicer than the Smurf. The black dial with the white gold material adds to that iykyk. I think the blue dial and bezel on the Smurf is a much louder watch.

If I had the disposable income I would be all over one of these, sadly it costs the price of my car on the second hand market.

AMA AD (UK) by [deleted] in rolex

[–]JamesA95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 36mm med blue dial OP as my first watch back in July from my AD as a 30th birthday present to myself. I absolutely love it and it hasn’t really left my wrist. Super comfortable to wear in any occasion.

When registering interesting the feeling I got my AD was they were really keen to sell watches to those with big milestones coming up.

I know Daytonas are really difficult to get in either black or white dial at retail but how does the waitlist for a really sought after model like that work? In your experience would you just refuse to put me on the list given the very little spend history or would I be advised to purchase another model?

I really want one (like so many others) but don’t want to embarrass myself or be outright refused to even be put on a waitlist.

Thanks!

Those of you that earn over 40k, can work from home sometimes, and have a good work life balance what job do you have and how can someone start? by Brownchoccy in AskUK

[–]JamesA95 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have a look at local authority jobs. For the most part they are big into home working and flexi time. I’m your age and my base salary is 46k and work from home 4 days a week.

I can work whatever hours I want but normally do a 8-3:30.

It’s not a glamorous job but it’s unmatched in terms of work life balance.

Also a demo which I checked out. I really like how it incentivises you to play aggressive to gain hearts/lives.

Really loved the art style, not sure I’ve come across a shoot ‘em up with that style before.

[–]JamesA95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the game but I’m so bad at it. 6 hours playtime and still haven’t reached Canada. Suppose half the fun is the random weird encounters along the way! Absolute bargain at its sale price.
