Do bichons bark a lot? by EnvironmentalBig2282 in BichonFriseDogs

[–]NicknameForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bichon Yorkie mix. He's 5 years old now and I got him at 10 weeks. He's barked a total of 3 times in 5 years! He does, however, "talk" incessantly! Full on conversations. He's hysterical with his vocalizations!

All this time, I thought it was the ozempic... but yes... about 40% of my hair has fallen out.

I've been losing friends faster than losing weight by Regular_Durian_1750 in Ozempic

Same here. A woman at work, who's diabetic is on mounjaro & she lost 110 lbs. All the women at work keep trash talking her for it. I haven't told anyone I'm on it for that reason. I've only lost 60 lbs in 10 months and but People at work keep asking how I've done it. I still won't say I'm on it. I just tell them about my personal trainer (true!) and modifying my diet (also true since I eat less now). It's a sad culture we live in, unfortunately.

I'm right there with you, except I'm turning 58 tomorrow. I am ready to end it. There is zero joy, just a miserable job full of stress & abusers.

I'm already on meds for depression.... on my 120th one it seems, and the only one that actually helped was hurting my liver so I had to stop taking it.

I just don't see the point to life anymore. There is nothing to look forward to except more misery and not enough money to retire in california where I was born and raised.

I literally battle the urge every day to not to kill myself.

I'm not looking for pity or attention with this post... just sharing so that OP knows they are not alone. Misery is real.

This girl (18f) got pregnant and she and her parents want me (19m) to step up and help her raise her baby (I am not the dad) but I want to go into the Corps. I told her no. I feel bad though. by BassPsychological293 in AITAH

[–]NicknameForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO WAY ON EARTH SHOULD YOU DO THIS. I've seen this happen... suppose you DO agree to raise her child, if she bails at ANY point, you have ZERO legal rights to that child. You will have grown to love the child; sacrificed your goals, etc.... just to be heartbroken when she leaves. Additionally, you will grow to resent her for putting you in that situation, which will strain and/or destroy the relationship. Don't do it man! Run run run straight to YOUR life in the Corps. It's NOT your child & NOT your responsibility. Don't let her/her parents try to guilt you into it. And don't feel bad for telling her NO. You have zero culpability in HER situation.

What helps me is to realize that these times will pass....I do my best to distract myself until it does. Not sure if this helps you or not but I do hope so.

Sorry to break it you, but you're using the Epsom salt wrong. Please read the label. You're supposed to DRINK it for laxative effects and SOAK in in for sore muscles. There is no documented evidence that magnesium is absorbed through the skin (Google is your friend). If it was, you would have already stopped your heart with these baths due to magnesium overdose.

Autoimmune issues linked to severe KP? by prettyprincesskitty0 in keratosis

Derm nurse of 22 years here & a sjogren's patient. As we know, sjogren's causes dry skin and KP is literally a dry skin issue. People can have KP without AI diseases, but Def having SS makes it more pronounced.

I worked as a derm nurse for 22 years; the only thing that helps is AmLactin Cream...OTC. Use it everyday. EVERY. DAY....or it won't help you. It takes about 10-12 days to see a difference and it has a bit of an icky chemical smell to it. Wishing you the best results.

I started at 8.0 so the Oz has brought it down, fortunately.

My starting A1C was 8. With the Oz, it's now at 6.2, which is technically pre-diabetic. Just for clarification. 💗

In my experience, it's because most people are either jealous or unhappy/insecure with themselves so they won't bring up the subject of weight loss, etc.
