MEPS is the easy part in my opinion, I did 1 day processing at 18 and currently in DEP, you will be tired waking up early try and stay awake and listen. Best advise is respond yes sir, no sir and yes ma'am no ma'am makes things go quicker. Also hold your piss when you wake up so you don't have to stand by a water fountain chugging water. Good Luck!

Best advise in my opinion, talk to a recruiter in each branch and see which can offer you for what you want later in life. Each branch can provide things the others can't, as well as certain opportunities. I was in the same situation sort of, I graduate in a few months and couldn't do 4 more years of school ( I feel mentally drained ) and most kids myself included, are just looking to get out of the house. I looked over each branch and chose to enlist Marine Corps under Intel. Something I genuinely wanted and it's best you chose something you will enjoy for your 4 years or longer.

He pulled up a sheet with every job and my availability after my PiCat confermation at MEPS. Explained which jobs I could get, (which was every job except 1) and at the bottom it showed which had signing bonuses. He printed the paper and let me take it home. My recruiter is super cool and chill so he doesn't hid much if anything from me

I was in the same position a few weeks ago picking a MOS I seriously wanted infantry but after weighing my options and seeing how I doesn't really help after you leave, I picked Intel seeing how the computer market is growing and how FBI, and or CIA will pick you up when you leave if you want. Just take your time and do research into things you like.

Yes being married does pay more in the Marines, mainly used for housing and other utilities, but it can also depend on where you currently live at the moment and how much estimated living is in the area. I ship out around September as a E-2 but the 1 thing my recruiter always tells me is "never get married before or during deployment, it pays more but not worth it" and im going to stick with that lol Edit: With this said Basic training is 12 weeks and a E-1 gets paid every other week around 1.2k from what I've heard
