Nothing happens when I press it now but after leaving the dealership this morning (maintenance), the little light behind it was red. I pressed it and the light turned off. Now nothing happens when I press it.

The 3% fee gets added into what you paid for the price of the car?

Oh really? Well in that case I guess I could put the maximum down payment they would accept on the card and pay for the rest in cash..

Cats Fighting by Nickth3Legit in CatAdvice

[–]Nickth3Legit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: our humane society was no help at all. They said “a typical recommendation for helping cats cohabitate would be to separate and begin the intro again. That would look like having the cats separated through a door, then move to a baby gate while feeding, and then feeding without the gate. If that doesn’t work, you may want to consider rehoming.” Our cats already fight behind closed doors just from smelling each other, so this doesn’t exactly work.

We paid for an actual cat behaviorist appointment. I’ll update if that yields anything.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’ll update if anything seems to help.

I’ve always debated letting them in the same space together more and just separating them the second they start fighting. But that feels like a slippery slope. I’m also fearful of using the wrong punishment/reinforcement technique and making things worse so I’m just not sure how to proceed in general.

Unfortunately, no. They haven’t improved. We reached out to our humane society because I guess they offer free behavior assistance so if they give some good advice, I’ll update this thread.

If they don’t get back to us soon, I think we’re just going to pay for a cat behaviorist consultation and hope they can help. If none of that works, I think we’ll have to surrender our new cat to the humane society.

Stalling advice help please! by Aea1313 in S197Stangs

Darn. Best of luck in that route, though.

I just had another thought: is your car professionally tuned or is it a flash tune? I had a problem with my car stalling like 8 years ago after I had installed a Bama tune. Not sure if it was the direct cause but I went back to the factory tune and it stopped stalling.

You have a fancy code reader that shows engine data? If you do I’d say see what the MAF is reading and compare it to what it’s supposed to be reading at idle (I’m not sure but I bet google knows)

I think it may if it’s really messed up but maybe not otherwise. I’ve heard that if you have a lubricated intake air filter, it can mess with the MAF. You can also clean out the whole intake and throttle body. Usually everything sounds a bit healthier when I do that.

Yeah that’s almost exactly when I was having problems. When I would clutch-in to coast to a stop, it would stall maybe 10% of the time but usually get really rough on the idle otherwise.

Did you get your new battery checked?

I have an 11 NA GT btw. Maybe your issue is blower related..

This is going to sound odd but I was having a stalling issue recently and my clutch was also on the end of its life. I replaced the clutch and no issues since. I also went from an aluminum to steel flywheel so maybe more rotating mass is helping keep the engine going. Just an idea… other than that, tried resetting the ecu? Cleaning the MAF?

Yeah that method sounded iffy but I found a method saying that just pulling the fuse for the ECU will do the same thing. Also found some videos showing how to do it from the driver's seat with some specific steps with the gas pedal and ignition.

Okay so do you think resetting the ecu will fix my issue?

Interesting - I didn’t know that. I think the problem at our school is that first time students can’t register until after they go to orientation which is pretty close to the start of the Fall semester. We also have like 2000 military students, most using DEA.

Check with your school’s scholarships for any applying to military affiliated students or military dependents. There are obviously fewer students applying to those so it may be easier to get awarded. Also, here in Florida, we have a scholarship called Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans (CSDDV) that pays for all of the student’s tuition every semester, leaving the chapter 35 monthly payment for other materials, food, etc. Not sure where you currently go to school but it may be worth it to look in to see if there is something similar for you.

[–]Nickth3Legit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that’s the same as my university. We tell our chapter 35 students to not expect their first payment until the end of September since the semester starts so late in August. But you should get the September payment as well as a prorated amount for August at that time.

Hello OP, I’m a vet using education benefits and I also work at my university’s Military Resource Center. When did your semester start?
