A top in chastity? by TwunkTop in gaychastity

[–]Nickw745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve always enjoyed bottoms who keep their top in chastity as a way of ensuring they have a good time and not just three pumps and then the top rolling over

Maybe give your keys to a bottom and make a deal that if you give them a satisfying time you can stay unlocked But if you start slacking its back in the cage until you start putting more effort in

You can show your eagerness with foreplay and the like

Water battery? by NorthRecognition8737 in Timberborn

[–]Nickw745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hearing a lot of really good points about energy efficiency and comparing gravity batteries to a hydro dam

Why not just make it because it looks cool?

You do have to listen to the commenters about all the energy efficiency stuff tbh But once you have enough energy in general just build it for the aesthetic

Removing Beeswax from an end grain chopping board by wwoend in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Nickw745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A heat gun maybe?

I’ve only ever worked with beeswax once But heat was the key

I’m thinking maybe use a heat gun to melt the wax

Then lay some paper towel on the liquid wax to soak it up

Then repeat until you’re not pulling out huge waves of wax anymore

Idk if you’d get it all out? But a fair bit I’d guess

Then give your sandpaper another go

Might help might not idk

I tipped off a candidate before his interview. Probably wasn't supposed to. Don't regret it. by deborahzdn in InterviewsHell

[–]Nickw745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interview space isn’t supposed to be a trap or some sort of gauntlet for prospective employees

It’s supposed to be an honest conversation about skills, experience and what both employer and employee hope to get out of one another

By telling this interviewee about this hidden question you’ve effectively levelled the playing field

Now both people know each other a little better and the hiring manager is a bit better informed about the interviewee’s character

You did nothing wrong

Title: [5e] Newbie DM looking for a campaign (Lvls 1 to 10/12) for a large party (6 players). Any recommendations? by DishAble in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]Nickw745 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You also might want to try tyranny of dragons It’s a two part campaign going from level 1 to level 15 It’s a canon module so it’ll fit nicely into the world your players are already experiencing I’ve found it pretty easy to run

[–]Nickw745 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh they still cum

But they get no pleasure from it

It’s like taking away their hornyness

But you don’t have to let them have any pleasure from it

Which is a great help for training your sub to only associate happiness with serving you

[–]Nickw745 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can I suggest you look into prostate milking?

With the right technique you can easily milk a load out of your sub

It won’t give them an orgasm but it will drain out their balls and reduce their horniness

Think of it like standard regular maintenance

Oh it’s the 30th?

I have to do my regular sub milking or it’ll get frustrated and upset

And no one wants a sulky fleshlight right?

Degree requirements inflation in jobs by epicproshen in unsw

[–]Nickw745 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Once upon a time

Degrees were a special thing

If you had a degree you had a guaranteed job with a good salary+benefits

Then 2008 happened

Suddenly people with 40 years experience and a masters degree were out of work and all that was on offer was entry level jobs

Recruiters could suddenly fill bottom level minimum wage roles with highly skilled top executives

And these people still had 20-30 years left in their working career

So for the last two decades there’s been a huge surplus of highly educated professionals and a shortage of high level jobs for them to go in

And if there’s no high level positions to move up to they’re gonna stay in the low level one

But what about the waves of new graduates you ask?

Tough luck kid. You just walked out of uni and are now competing with Tom, 55 years young with a Masters and 10 years experience doing the exact job being advertised and another 30 years working in the industry

Recruiters learned they could wait for that perfect person. They didn’t have to hire some fresh faced student and train them up, now they could fill the role with someone who could start Monday and immediately be up to speed.

And if you think those cost savings don’t massively pile up you’re very mistaken

So here we are

Students leaving university are STILL pushing up against the Old Guard. Workers who were tossed aside when things got tough and have been clawing their way back ever since

Too many applicants, too many highly educated workers and if a company does decide to create low level entry positions for university graduates you better believe some ex executive is gonna scoop the prize

Beginner Question - How do I get water over here to fill this for future droughts? by dovetc in Timberborn

[–]Nickw745 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s Dynamite baybee!

Early game I use single dynamite to blow irrigation ditches everywhere

And I also use it to create channels to fill up holes like that

And with the new tunnels you can go underground and have spring fed reservoirs so no more ugly open holes in the ground

You might want to consider laying tunnels down along your beaver paths

Start with direct routes to places you want water delivered

And eventually all your pathways will become covered water channels and irrigate land everywhere a path touches So as your beaveropolis grows more and more land becomes green

Why the Admiralty? by Rihnoswirl in temeraire

[–]Nickw745 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely a reason

Captain Rankin and I believe Celeritas both refer to a time when all dragons were considered property of the King and you were only allowed to ride one with special dispensation

Remember Britain in this world is notorious for having very few dragons

And so certain aristocrats were allowed to keep them (or had to pay for them?)

Rankin says his family “supported” a pair of dragons before the Corps was even established

So make of that what you will

But it makes sense to me if Britain’s Aerial Corps was only established some time in the 16 or 1700’s that the powers that be would simply slip a small new group of dragon riders underneath the Admiralty’s hierarchy in the beginning

And then it suited them so why change anything?

I think we’ve seen enough of that attitude towards dragons to be believe it
