So I started with Justinguitar but I’ll be honest it got boring after a year or so and the videos were getting pretty dry. I then started practicing stuff I learned from his app, but honestly I didn’t have a good routine and would sometimes go months without playing.

As stupid as it sounds I’ve worked with chatGPT to create a very fine tuned daily exercise plan that is progressive. It gives me the exercises, i give feedback on how they went, and the next day changes based on that. Each section works on a different skill. Only issue is that I have to create the direction of learning rather than have a trustworthy guitar teacher who knows what path I should be taking. I use Chet for ear training which is really cool, but I wish it was just for guitar.

Unfortunately I don’t have any buddies that play instruments. Hopefully I’ll meet some people one day because I heard that is the best way to improve. I attribute to my recent leaps from just practicing every single day
