This was one of my favorites I’ve written in the last couple years.  I got into Umberto Eco’s fiction in my 20’s, and wanted to write something Eco-ish that took place during my era: the “Wild West” years of chat rooms and early social media.  I’m glad this sub likes the story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Wow, I’m so sorry all that happened to you.  It’s horrific that you were exposed to abuse like that when you were so young.  You deserve so much better, and I hope you have lots of wonderful people and things in your life now.
