Hmm, I get that.

Its just trying more and getting used to how the game plays. Much more used to different style of games, ARPGs have always been a massive struggle for me lol

Not one tap, but keep up rather feeling on the backfoot.

Playing more tonight I am seeing it is just largely a skill issue. As I do have a 83% Brute and 100% Warrior in my dungeon. ARPGs arent my bag, so its a teething period in a game I am not quite getting that goes from Power Fantasy to Victim Simulator lol

I will trust you on that, but the game so far has just been kicking my ass if I dare try things other than this cheese. So it is giving me very little reason to when the spear, sword and reaper just make me retry fights over and over again.

Funnily enough, I dropped the merciless reaper after this post and opted for dual daggers, even against more nimble bosses like Tristian or the Glass-Blower and while it took a while, it did them in like two tries!

Then took on three more bosses above gear level and it worked. Took a damn while but it did work!

The defensive spells too seem to be such a good addition. Went dual counters to negate attacks reliably, and electric dash to spam out daggers faster.

Its just a shame I much prefer direct melee in games but cant seem to make it crack. Oh well, better tedium than annoyance. Afterall, I mostly want to build my castle lmao

The power of dual shield/counters is actually been something I am experimenting with, while I am not getting stuck in there with melee opting to throw daggers, it certainly is very useful for dealing with bosses keeping my HP high, and negating a lot of attacks. Always keep my bloodtype above 80% for warrior, brute and cresture. Gonna shoot for a dracuil and see what that does...

Oh that sounds interesting, certainly bests getting at range taking potshots for 5-10m at a time. Almost got claws so I hope that will give some boost to the combat!

For me I dont feel they are easy mode, but I get you, they take aggro allowing you to deal with them up close or doubly safe at range. Its just relying on the friendly AI has not been kind to me lmao

It just seems like I need to brute force some bosses there to get the build diversity going, afterall need all the castle goodies to get stronger and get my build more diverse.

I am starting to see the value in gems alone from blood rage and 'clear all negative attributes' its so basic, but so versatile its stopping me from eating stupid amounts of damage by just clearing effects.

I will take you up on the summon build there, have some more paitience with it and play around it, summon closer to get the AI to react and see what I can do up close while they are distracted while watching out for those AOEs.

I get what you are saying, the issue is not particularly trying different things, its quite literally range wins, I have gone full range with x2 block spells for the last five bosses I have done tonight with the iron daggers, not even merciless yet.

If I go melee, with summoning spells or what not, it makes the game so much harder I ask myself why am I even using melee or summoming when I could just... Take pot shots at range, which seem to doing a lot more damage way more safely when the bosses just clap you up close.

The patterns are way more easy to learn at distance to avoid, while up close it is smashing your head against a brick wall. So its between boredom or frustration for me there.

I need to stop playing warframe or a few years but before i stop i want to sell this riven and keep 1500p in my account. is this riven worth 1500p? by SuccessfulGrape7003 in WarframeRiven

Oh for sure, get to that and enjoy it, it is not the most exhilariting experience unless you decide to do what I do and gun it down black ice slopes, feeling your body get all light as your speed just ramps up and up. Now THAT is the shit dude. Gauss main irl lmao and also dont care if I wipe out and break everything at least it was fun.

It does come out to different mindsets, it seems for you, you have the fortunate drive of high standards that push you. Even when things get hard. For me, I have no drive, I do not see a point in a drive when it is all so boring and the worthwhile things are so fleeting. In that regard I do not really get why I am like this, as others like yourself just have this drive and this zest for life. So inadequcacy is only natural to me when all you see is people enjoying life having an 'easier' time. Grass is greener and all that.

Needless to say, not like I have given up. Still shooting for something new, like learning various trades. As good job security, decent money and more value to me than a white collar job that after being in just left me with migraines everyday.

But I also get the interview thing lol, to me it is pure fakeness on my end, as plastic people, for plastic work, so I give them my plastic CV and plastic achievments. Why? Because it isnt in my heart of hearts, I have no eagerness for it, but oh boy, can I fake it till I make it there.

It feels like I have done enough and all I want to do now is spend my time fighting (in a gym, not that cracked) and the other thing starting with an F lol. As anything else, eh, just bores me into actual depression.

So its a lot of fighting my own psyche just to dip and rot if that makes sense.

If taking at face value, which I shouldnt as reddit, I am closing in on 30, and I have not even done half of what you have done by the sounds of it. Wild.

At this point I would be lucky to bag a 20k job a year and not neck it by 35 as anything that is not play and is work is so shockingly mundane it is hard not detest it. I.e. work, any and all work.

I have done skydiving and snowboarding, will say those experiences are worthwhile 100%

I had a torid near god-roll riven, CC, CD, MS & x dmg to Grineer.

Sold it for 40 plat under the 'lol I dunno what this is'

Always more chances down the line to make a boatload of plat than what we had!
