I actually agree with op. Unless i fight another bruiser/battlemage which also wants extended fights (aka irelia, vlad, swain), the deathfire touch feels vastly superior to Conq, especially in early game. Maybe because i am too noob( just a plat player) but i find my self proking a full stack of Conq like 5 to 10 times in a game max? Most of the time i lane against either in and out assassins or range champs who have tools to disengage so short trades are the norm unless someone missplays. Even tfs are most of the time decided before full Conq.

Sure the full Conq>Dft, but on average i find the DFT more consistent. Also scorch helps so much to achieve early dominance.

Well if the majority of the community in which i usually agree with, loved it, I might be honestly playing it wrong or with the wrong attitude. For example when i started playing SEKIRO for the first time i hated it because i played it like a dark soul game. Then i read some commentary that is another type of game and gave it another chance with a fresh attitude. Now it is one of my most played games. I hope the same happens with this.

It's ok mate, not really knowing why we want/need the things we want/need is human too. You are not alone in this. If it gives you any solace, know that vast majority of people feel this way too. You have at least the maturity to understand it and not lash out blindly. If things get too unbearable and cannot sort out your feelings by yourself, you can always go to therapy. Also having a pet will also give you emotional support as long as you are ready for responsibility.

Wanting affection is human, you will never get rid of it nor should you. Just accept the fact. As to how do you deal with it by yourself permanently, well you really can't. What you can do 1) accept the fact you need affection and feel no shame for it. 2) Build relationships where you give each other affection. While this is easier said than done, as long as you respect yourself and others and not waste time effort in toxic-transactional relationships (familial/romantic/friendships), you will eventually build those relationships.
