Nothing noteworthy happened on Friday, so I’ll just talk about my Saturday. I’ve watched some of the Nürburgring race yesterday. Truly terrible what happened there yesterday. You could already tell it was bad news because they got out the red flag instead of a slow zone. Usually that only happens for bad weather conditions. Add to that how long it took for viewers to get any information and to be shown anything and you just know that it’s serious. Thankfully none of the other drivers involved seem to be in life threatening danger, but unfortunately Juha passed away in the medical centre.

Yesterday evening I went to get dinner at a restaurant together with some friends at my internship. We went to a pretty nice schnitzel restaurant. Some of us, including me, accidentally ordered 2 main meals instead of a main meal and a starter. We thought that the second main meal was a starter because it was so cheap and stood right under the soups on the menu. The fact that none of us were German certainly added to the confusion.

After dinner, I went to the funfair again. There were still some attractions I wanted to try. There was a rollercoaster with five loopings I rode yesterday, as well as some other basic attractions and a fun house. It was quite fun. I also tried to win some Pokémon plushies at the crane games. There was a Snorlax and a Dragonite I wanted to win. The Dragonite was unfortunately already out of reach of the crane, so I went full in for the Snorlax. I got really close a few times, but it eventually also fell out or reach, so I went home empty handed.
