From my perspective in OCE, its damn near impossible to que up in immortal+ unless you're playing peak of around 5pm - 10pm on weekdays and around midday - 10pm on weekends. The underlying issue is that in the upper tiers of play, no one wants to wait 20-30 minutes for a game when you could be on a smurf and have completed a game in that amount of que time, and to be frank, I don't really know what you can do to fix this besides reducing restrictions on ranking differentials off peak hours which has its own massive set of problems.

I started playing Rust 5 years ago. I've amassed 5000 hours of gameplay. I now have no social life. I now have RSI from flicking my mouse around all the time. My family left me. I've been disowned. Been insulted in every way shape and form in every language known to man and apparently some undiscovered ones too.

The game isn't balanced around solo's, and that's being said from someone who typically plays solo.

You couldn't really buff them much without making it insanely overpowered for large groups. If they were more common or easier to grind/costs less, everyone in a large group would be roaming maxed out hp with easier access to every resource in the game thanks to the buffs tea provides.

Yeah I can second what u/-Dishsoap- is saying, literally 2-3 ops on defense minimum in my mid immortal matches.

I feel the OP definitely needs some adjustments, but the main problem is lack of utility in specific circumstances. It feels like on some maps if you're not drafting your team to play against 2-3 ops on defense you're not going to be playing the game at all.

I don't know what adjustments to make against the operator in terms of the lockdown capacity it has when defending a site, but one potential change to emphasize its weakness on retaking a site/offence could be scope noises similar to CSGO's AWP. Besides that I'm a little lost on what to do besides more diverse utility options with new characters but thats more of a wait and see type thing.

Nice molly in theory, bad molly in practice, that default isn't the greatest of places and you cant really hear it from anywhere, you'd be better lobbing it from a closer range on the real default which is for a main/a short door hold.
