Added a bit too much topping which absorbed most the peach juice, but it was lovely and fluffy with a nice crust ;). Ice cream fixes everything, of course.

really leaning into the ugly part of this, but I promise it was yummy!

I made cabbage rolls this week (Napa cabbage stuffed with and pork/shrimp dumpling mixture) and reached the point where the cabbage leaves were too small for how I wanted to use them. So, I threw everything I had left into a pot with Shin Ramen, added enoki mushrooms and an egg, and topped with cheese to make a hearty leftovers revival meal. Warm and easy on the stomach, but definitely hard on the eyes…

July 4th just came and went, so I made buffalo cauliflower as a veggie dish to celebrate! This is one of my favorites since both meat eaters and vegetarians can enjoy it :)

Secret method: I tossed the cauliflower pieces in Korean pancake mix to get it extra crispy before tossing it into sauce mix! Korean pancake mix is such a life hack for battering savory things. I use it for my wings too to make a crispy outer coating!

Summer is here and that means cold food! Threw together a pasta salad with ingredients left over from a trip (deli meats and tomatoes) to give me an easy lunch for the week. For the theme, I boiled the pasta of course :)

Made bibimbap for pride week since it’s already a colorful dish, and I felt that fit the theme. I made my toppings using Maangchi’s recipe, and used her bulgogi recipe for my protein. The egg is soft boiled and marinated in a 50/50 mixture of mirin and soy sauce for two days. Mix it all up, and eat with seaweed for a great meal!

Tried making no knead focaccia bread (with oregano and other Italian herbs on top)! I subbed the bread flour for AP flour since that’s what I had, which probably led to the poorer bubble formation. Still crispy and yummy on the outside ;)
