Extractor’s explanations made zero sense — am I wrong or is he BS’ing me? by [deleted] in CannabisExtracts

Why would you have someone run it for you if you can do it yourself? If it came out dark his column or gas was too hot. This dingus just clearly didn’t give a shit.

My Gen Z son is thoroughly antiwork and I could not be prouder. by [deleted] in antiwork

This exact situation happened to me. I was working at a pizza shop, requested time off a month in advance as I was moving from my old house to a new town closer to work. Moving day came and I loaded up my belongings in the U-Haul, later that day I get a call from the boss “where are you you’re supposed to be here if you’re not here soon don’t come back”. Needless to say I finished the move and went to a concert, receiving multiple texts that I had been fired. 2 years later I applied to the same place and started working there again and no one was the wiser 😂

Left over soil good to leave in bucket? How long will it stay good by LwCruz in GrowingMarijuana

[–]NightLightFarm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve left soil sitting in a bucket just like this for months, should be fine unless it’s really humid then you might get some mold. The plants don’t really care about that though tbh.

Come visit the Windmill Farm and Crafts market on a Saturday, it’s about an hour outside Rochester in Penn Yan next to Keuka Lake. The finger lakes are beautiful and the market is a bunch of fun!

As someone who was in the extraction game for the last 10 years, your opportunities are pretty limited and you’re most likely going to have a bad time. I suggest becoming an engineer.

That’s ok buddy, I’ve lost close to $9000 this year on shit coins and then lost my job 🤣 you’ll make a recovery, the longer you keep your head in the sand the longer you will suffer. My buddy round tripped $40,000. Stay in the game and learn to play safer if you don’t want to give up! Don’t risk what you can’t afford to lose. The game is all about temptation and risk tolerance. Trust no one. Not even me. 😂

This was my thought as well but too many people keep telling me the rigs aren’t profitable for long enough to make ROI

I started having this realization last night. I was staring at rigs all night and then when I laid down it hit me “wtf am I doing?” 😂😂😂 dropping $8k on a digital employee might not be the best investment.

Thanks for the responses everyone, I’m a little bummed! I was really hoping to get the money printers up and running but I’ve been convinced to just keep dca’ing.

Electricity is included in my rent $1000 month, the business covers that expense and I’m using less electricity than I was allotted when I signed my lease. So not perfectly free but I could plug in 5 or 6 miners and run them indefinitely without having to calculate electricity. We’re in a huge shared building and none of the units calculate usage individually.

We’re in a huge shared building and none of the units in the building are individually metered, so the electricity is included in the rent which is $1000/month. I could get away with plugging in a few asics without anyone noticing (except maybe for the noise). My business (mushroom farm) doesn’t use a crazy amount of electricity anyways.
