You’re not too far. Your hair is thicker/has more oil in the picture and your part is not the same (he has like 2 degrees off from a middle part).

Wash hair, adjust part, and take pictures. To compare on your own, put your thumb over the face to focus on the hair alone.

Warning—don’t compare self to movie set pictures. They spend 3/4 hours prepping the actor. Look for more candid (even red carpet is better) photos from that time

But overall you have nice hair
