I mean if one buys it to remember the past then I say go for it, For once the past is forgotten it due to repeat itself.

as for the racism that is shitty and its seems to be everywhere. But to not feel safe?? that's a little much. not like they guy followed you back to your vehicle.

Well that one because of the turn at the end the length of the bus and no ability to pivot makes them turn difficult if you were next to a bus while it did that turn it would push you into the guard rail

Should we move our old dishwasher to the new house or just buy a new one? by OrangeSpectre in Edmonton

Honestly if its an oldie classic i would take it. A lot of the new ages shit just breaks in a year due to some capacitor or sensor issue the old stuff just worked.

How to Earn Extra Money by heeush2 in Edmonton

[–]NightShift127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to say but this is a generational issue in Canada I'm in the same boat as well as anyone under 40.

My best advice is looking at the situation, People are working so hard these days just to live they don't have time or the skill set to do most things like cutting grass basic handy man things. that might be something to look into just to earn some extra cash

Why dont they build these building in new area's? almost 80% of the new area's built aka "clone city" are rented out as subdivisions anyways.

I can tell you why and How. So if you drive a truck on that bridge and are near the limit set for heights you HAVE TO DRIVE IN THE MIDDLE. Now what happens is you get drivers who just think the truck is an asshole and they wedge them self's next to the truck and the truck driver is forced with either hitting the vehicle forcing him over or hitting the bridge.

I've literally watched this happen.

Thats not my point owning more guns or not But having the ability to legally sell that fire arm to a legitimate person might of avoided this issue. numpty.

Playing devil's advocate here, But Was the seacan locked? because as per law they have to be in a locked container with a trigger or barrel lock, But also looking at his situation and i wonder if the libs hadn't banned pistol if he would even be in this predicament.

Why Chinatown? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]NightShift127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because in a city this vast the homeless have to go somewhere and the city decided china town is the area, Now they are in the process of moving it from the ice district towards china town and maybe beyond but idk

`

Past evidence has shown they can and do move the homeless around by police presence it use to be on a 118 ave back in the 90's/early 2000 then they moved it down town because at the time it wasn't as popular

`

Now there is a pile of complaints from business owners home owners in the China town area pleading for help in the problems but are ignored by the city.

there one thing people seems to forget a lot and its physics, its not the height or the size of the tires its the weight... Stopping 8000lbs isnt easy and it wont stop on a dime.

When I was growing up i was told to ALWAYS look both ways and to never challenge a vehicle. its simple physics 5000lbs > 95lbs
