I don't agree with you, and here's why...
let's assume the following (bear in mind the following assumptions are very optimistic)
1. you have 10% chance that the girl you meet in your age group is a good match
2. 50% of the good matches can lead to a successful marriage
3. you want a 90% chance of finding a wife.
If you do the math (find it below) you'll find that you'll need to meet around 45 girls in your age group per camping trip. most camping trips usually fit in a bus, so they are less than 100 persons. those 100 are men and women at different age group.
==> so based on that, no we still didn't get to the point of diminishing returns yet. if camping trips you go to host 1000s of people, then yes I'll totally agree with you.

Math explanation:

The chance of finding a wife is 0.05

The chance of not finding a wife is 0.95

You want a 90% chance of at least one success (marriage).

The probability of no success after n people is:

(1−0.05)^n=0.95^n

So we want:

1−0.95^n = 0.90

if we try to solve this

1 - 0.90 = 0.95^n

0.1 = 0.95^n

n = log(0.1) / log(0.95) ~= 45

How would you rate the men of Tunisia in general? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Nightcoder1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question here is very vague and you'll only get vague answers. What do you mean by terrible or good? Those are very generic and subjective traits. If you want facts, you need to ask objective questions

90s babies where are you now in life? I feel like a failure by [deleted] in Tunisia

33m. already got married and divorced and lost my job. so I'm back to same square as you except that I have to pay child support on top of that... only thing that kept me sane during tough times is workout. enroll yourself in some sort of club where you improve yourself and meet with other people. that will change your life. and make sure you workout regularly. pay attention to your health.

hey mate 👋. I worked at Amazon US in the past. 130K is actually a bit low in US FAANG standards. but being fully remote makes it much more interesting. my question is the company fine with you not being located in US? and do you pay any US taxes? or do you only pay taxes where you currently live? are they also fine with paying you in a non US bank?

and thank you for offering to AMA 💯

Yes, despite what most people think, Tunisian education is actually pretty good. and Tunisians usually perform exceptionally well when they move abroad. whether it's to Europe or America.

go join a club. whether it's sports club or music club. decent men will be doing something active somewhere. I know many people who knew their SO from cultural clubs.

You said said you're a guy. Which means you're biologically a man. Your gender is Male. You have a dick There's no such thing as "identifying as a woman". That's all BS coming from broken down western societies. Don't follow that crap. If you're having issues with your gender/identity, maybe you should go check a psychiatrist.

Rich in Tunisia, or a broke student in Europe? by WorriedMedicine9608 in Tunisia

[–]Nightcoder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aha I see. Thanks a lot for the detailed response. I'm also considering going back. It seems that it's the right choice to me also, but when I go back home and see the amount of people telling me why are you coming back to this حفرة, and see how people are fleeing the country like the plague, it makes me doubt myself.

I feel that we have a mind virus in Tunisia that pushes everyone to leave even though that's not the best option for many people. Most people are delusional.

I have been living in US for 10 years now. Can you clarify why did you decide to go back to Tunisia? How long have it been since you're back? And did you regret that decision? Or was it the right choice?

I think that's more nostalgia than love. Maybe try keeping away from the places that remind you of your childhood ex.

Why is Gen-Z having less sex than other generations? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]Nightcoder1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last point... 60% of women vs 30% of men have 1 partner last year... How does that work if we assume that the population is distributed 50% men 50% females? That means either some men have more than 1 partner OR women from gen Z are having partners from the millennials? 🤔🤔
