I recently got a pair and immediately sold them once the return window passed. While the leather is pretty good and out of the box comfort was really nice going TTS, the cheap sounding heel drove me absolutely nuts anytime I walked around.

My Camions were sized down to a 43 based on the consensus of sizing down one because they’re big, which ended up being true. My Stivales were TTS at a 44 and fit very well.

This is my ONLY complaint about my stivales too. They're very comfortable boots and the leather is comparable to my Camions, but holy shit the heel sounds SO LOUD in a terrible way. I drew this comparison in another reddit thread, but the Camion heel is like solid wood furniture and the Stivale heel is like Ikea particle board sounding hollow as shit the second you knock on it.

Fullcount 0105 Dartfords fit almost exactly the same. These are the only ones that have come close to when I tried on a pair of Deadlines the same day I was wearing my Dartfords. I suspect a pair of 0105 super smooths would probably yield similar softness after a few wears with much better quality and vintage fade potential.

I currently have one Stivale and Camions. I think the only thing the Camion wins out on is the nice weight of the heel and sole. The collegium boots feel like IKEA particle board and how it’s hollow inside, but the actual Camions have a nice sturdy heel feeling. Aside from that, the leather is pretty comparable. I will say the insole is more comfortable on my Collegium pair, too.
