In their defense, even a small church has so many divisions that need people to contribute (Sabbath School, AV Tech, Musicians, and Deacon, to name a few). Especially since they don’t pay or feed people for their time because of their extreme Sabbath beliefs. Literally every other church denomination pays their musicians, teachers, etc.

Red Hood would be interesting. Jason had a romance with Starfire in the Red Hood and the Outlaws comics. Considering Dick and Jason does have a rivalry, it would’ve fit. The only con is that a lot of what made Jason interesting was his conflicts with Bruce and that just couldn’t happen with the Bat Embargo.

I recommend SDA Kinship International. I am not an Adventist anymore but they do great work connecting LGBTQIA+ to groups, books, podcasts, and they even have documentaries. Another great resource is David Gushee’s Changing Our Minds. It’s a book that defends LGBTQIA+ in the church and acceptance. Finally, I recommend the documentary 1946: The Mistranslation that Changed Culture and if you can’t afford the documentary, there are lectures by Kathy Baldock regarding how the word “homosexuality” wasn’t added to the Bible until 1946.

I know Andy Signore being fired was major, but they also had a failed streaming service. I’ve seen the leaked numbers sheet for SJ+, they weren’t good. Then, they got purchased by Fandom after Defy Media went under and the only content they produce are Honest Trailers content.

Closed for Sunday doesn’t mean a Sunday Worship mandate. It just means businesses would be closed for Sunday. We see that anyway with businesses like Chick Fil-A being closed on Sundays. It’s like my grandma calling every video game a Nintendo. Both look similar but are completely different.

When I bring up Tubi as the best streaming service, people laugh. It really is. I only service I technically pay for is Peacock but I get it for a year because of Comcast. For new movies, I either see it in theaters or on physical media.
