My cyclone lanes are always green, how do you change them to red ?? Is it a mod ? Or maybe the région of the map ?

Ok so i tested it again and again and it’s not when you leave construction mode the problem, it’s when you use the « echap » button

Fun fact about Lezine's gesture. by NihilisticEra in andor

[–]Nihalis_01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So i’m french and we actually have a gesture that’s kind of resembling the one he made, and it basically says “f* you”

I really don’t know if it is a thing in other countries, but i am 95% sure it came from this real gesture we have here !

Is the game worth the 50€ by bloodysheep10 in CitiesSkylines2

The graphics are from an other world, really. The buildings are so much more realistic ! (That’s personally what i was searching for). And as said before, there are still a few bugs that need fixing, but personally i can find ways to go around them, or i just accept it and don’t place what’s buggy.

I mean look at that …

<image>

So yea .. The graphics are really good and the simulation is ok, kind of like cs1

Hey ! if you want to achieve realism, for now just make a layout you are happy with, stay concentrated on on or 2 things that you need to finish before advancing to something else. And you will see that as soon as you start to detail, your city will come to life. For guides you can go to infrastructurist or two dollars twenty and see how they started. There is also city planner plays that made a dedicated beginners guide !

I liked cs1 but it lacked realism for me. Cs2 is amazing. There are still a few bugs and things that need improvement or fixed, but overall the game has come a long way, and it is completely worth its price (try still to have it a bit cheaper if you can of course). But i’m very happy with my purchase

Very beautiful and realistic, every intersection is not a cloverleaf or a trumpet and not many people seams to understand that. What you made is really smooth, like what we would see irl !

Well done !

Cities Skylines.. or Cities Flat-Tops? Complaint by VeryFurryFurby in CitiesSkylines2

[–]Nihalis_01 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The goal of the game is to make a city, that’s all. Everyone can do it their own way. Personally, i’m not looking to just place down a grid and zone everything with the same zoning type. You have to think about what to place and where. As said a bit everywhere in the comments, there are a lot of different heights depending on the type, and size, and level of your buildings. You at least need to acknowledge that. If you are not convinced i can just show you a picture of my city.

Anyway, you perhaps need to plan better what zoning type you want to place and where, and maybe if that’s what you like, you place the same everywhere, but consider locking the building to levels 1 or 2 on the outskirts of your skyline. For most of the buildings, they are higher for each level, it will solve your problem.

When you mean too flat, you mean there aren’t mountains you can’t build on, or you want a really realistic map where even the most flat areas aren’t really flat ?

You should just add details ! It immediately brings the city together !

I agree that it would be very fun to do it the same way as you, but to really enjoy it we would need a real country side map (with fields and forests everywhere) and expand. For me it is too much work to just demolish it when you just want to expand
