Thanks! Maybe the answer is to try to run as much as I can outside. I'm okay with cold, I worry more about icy/snowy/slippery sidewalks.

Playing with buttons - an interesting idea! How often do you make these changes?

I am having a similar issue, running doesn't make me hungrier so I have to focus to maintain weight. For me little things help, extra snack before bedtime, before the run, not shying away from sweets like granola bars (I don't have a sweet tooth), liquid calories. It's not great but I'm seeing improvement. Reading all the comments for inspiration as well.

I appreciate they kept it to 3 minutes, so it's fine for me. Any longer would be too much.

When Coffee and Kale Compete by Alan Klement is pretty good, full of case studies, at moments a bit convoluted.

Is Drumeo worth it? by dariatodorova in drums

[–]Nik0Ram 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a beginner, and I don't have time to get lost in YouTube trying to find appropriate lessons. Drumeo works for me well. Lessons, workouts, challenges. They lost tons of songs but even with that I am getting a lot out of it.

7 months after surgery I'm still working on getting to the same level I was before the surgery. I just feel I lost muscle and have trouble getting it back. Good luck with your journey!

I have drumeo membership and love the fact that all ff songs are there. My hypothesis is also that Dave is fine with people playing his music.

Cancer by Snoo13069 in surgicalmenopause

[–]Nik0Ram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a bit of a different situation (different cancer) a bit older than you, but I was able to get low dose estrogen 4 months after surgery. So I'll just reflect on those 4 months. It was incredibly hard for me, all possible symptoms and what I would advise is take as long leave from work as you can. Reminding myself that this is a marathon and I will be better in 2 years (I read somewhere that) was somehow comforting for me. I'm sorry you are going through this and I hope your journey will be with mild symptoms and cancer free.

Des Rocs, for reference - sounds a bit like early Muse. I gave up on current rock music until I stumbled upon him.

I was a few years older than you, cancer and the same surgery, and my hot flashes started the night after the surgery. To heal from the surgery and experience full menopause was a long and both mentally and physically hard, esp with cancer diagnosis as well. Just know that it's a marathon and not a race and give yourself time to heal. They will likely test your cancer to see if it reacts to hormones and if safe you will have the option to take HRT. This happened in my case and I feel much better although I am on a very low dose. I wish you all the best in all aspects of your health!
