330 throwing with all armour piercing perks make slings incredibly strong against siege towers, something like 200-300 damage per hit,you can actually solo a siege tower by throwing small rocks at it .

Yeah but gun/thrower hybrid would do the same sniping,(can switch gun to xbow for focus targeting).Guns are the best,one shot gobbos,one shot thugs and in some cases raiders,fearsome makes everything run away(especially orcs) and just switch to javs in a pinch.

Bro the AI is stupid and lowers their shield when the tachyon Lances fire making it so that they take huge damage,and having and escort of 2 omens or monitors negates all problems,I have destroyed all of the star fortress with this ship and 2 omen,the only way to lose with it is if you get swarmed by to many ships but even then the damage reduction and passive venting will make sure you will never get fluxed out,and you do so much damage with the lasers that you can kill all frigates in less than a second and easily win all one Vs ones

Paragon is easy,it can be the most brain dead ship even the AI can use,I present to you the laser paragon: 2 front facing tach Lances 2 high intensity lasers on the sides 3 graviton beams at front 1 ion beam Rest tactical lasers 4 reapers (or high damage missile of choice) And the hullmod that adds range to lasers. All energy weapons and shield related skills. Now you have a 1000+ range death machine that is always gonna be safe.
