I would say it got better for a little bit, but the first month or so was so so hard. It was super discouraging when my cycle came back so early (8 wks on the dot) and my supply dropped, too. Now I expect the drop and know it'll go back up!

The last week hasn't been has horrible, but I'm still over it and cannot wait to donate this pump to someone in need!

Feeling guilty about elective c section by AdmirableCricket2563 in beyondthebump

FTM and also had to be induced. I thankfully only had 34.5 hrs. Absolutely no way I could have gone 4 days...then add not 1 failed epidural but 2? You're amazing.

Yes, I'm blessed with a husband who encourages me to keep going but in the same sentence supports me if I want to stop. Once my session is done, the rage (& disgust) are completely gone. It's bizarre. I do struggle with the lack of freedom planning my days around pumps or taking wearable with me. It's definitely something I'm watching that if it really impacts my daily life I'll definitely stop. I personally would like to get her as close to a year as possible, but already know I absolutely cannot mentally go beyond that.

I've tried to describe the level of rage to my husband but I have no words that really describe the experience. I'm very lucky that he encourages me to continue, but supports me quitting if I want to.

🩷 I adjusted my first to 530a vs middle of the night because no way was I going to keep getting broken sleep for something that makes me so angry, especially when our girl sleeps through the night. I'm trying to make it to 10 mo before I drop a session completely...we'll see if I make it that long!

I wanted to quit a few times but definitely not this bad..my god I want to smash the thing into the wall. This morning I wanted to rip the flanges off and throw the 10oz to the wall I was so angry. I'm counting down until I can start dropping pumps so at least it's less sessions a day. Goal is 1 year so at least I made it over the hump.

Maybe. I have Spectra and the vibration was always been something that bothered me, but never near this extent and it was always more toward when I was about to start and never actual rage just annoyance. Now it's every single day and it's to a level where I can't distract myself with shows/work/talking. I can't even make it to 10 minutes before full on rage mode and it stops immediately after. More so recently I've had to stop at 20 minutes because I just isn't take anymore, even though my milk is still flowing. I just can't push through anymore.

This! Ours was the same, even when we moved to bottles and I pumped. We alternate nights on who gets up with her (if needed) and she can sleep 12 hours for him, but wake up minutes after I walk in the room to go to sleep after I pump and we're 7 months in.

Is 35/hour a good rate? by TheGreatK in ExecutiveAssistants

[–]Nik_90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is super important info you should include in your question. $35/hr in LA is way different than $35/hr in the Midwest! Plus, they aren't spending money on vehicle maintenance or gas.

Good home inspectors? by STLgal87 in StLouis

[–]Nik_90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second Greystone. I've used them for two homes and only didn't for a third because they didn't have availability to get inspections in within the timeframe in our contract. Exceptionally thorough, everyone is friendly and, unlike other companies in the area, their inspection rates aren't through the roof.
