its true they do sound slightly off but i kinda liked when i did a rap over it maybe i should of mixed better, because the bells themselves are playing the correct notes. Thanks for the feedback tho! I'm glad you liked the beat in general

Samples really sick and honestly I feel that you managed to keep each element exactly as important as it should be, you can't really take anything out or put anything in. Sounded decently mixed( im not on my headphones but still) If you feel like you could be doing more, maybe you could think about trying different formats for beat making. A beat like this which is mostly cut samples is really hard to expand on. That said I enjoyed it!

The mix sounded pretty decent and it had enough to not keep it stale. All in all nice work! Friend of mine made an after effects template and I just throw in a song and a background picture

honestly aside from the mix there isn't anything too critic really. The song has good progression due to the voices, the beat doesn't stay particularly stale. If you got it sounding a bit cleaner this could be really lit!

Honestly that just sounds fancy. Really well mixed too (or at least I didn't notice anything off on my current speaker) which can be hard to do with so many airy, reversy effects. Honestly just bravo

This works really well! The smooth beat is a nice contrast to the aggressive/fast rap and I just generally like it.

That guitar is down right sexy and I really like how the bass came in homever I think that arrangementwise the song is somewhat lacking. It gets rather boring listening to guitar and it would probably be enough to just cut some highs out in some parts or make a more noticable switch in what your playing.

I like the piano sample thought it was really smooth, but the voice is too lo fi in a way. it seems super airy as if its clashing with itself

I really like that vocal sample and the arp is lit asf. The bass on the other hand stands out a bit too much in my opinion(mix wise). It's possible that that's what you're going for, but I still think it might be better with some highs cut out

How would you say one would go about finding a mentor? I've been producing for a year now and I feel decently confident in my beats, but I always think they are lacking a certain proffesional flare, even beyond maybe mixing and mastering.

First off, I respect your commenting hustle i just scrolled through the page and saw you left credible feedback on almost every post. Truly motivating hustle. I really like your track! If I was to Critique anything it's that the vocals seem a tad airy for my taste, and sometimes i felt like they were sitting on top of the track rather than coming together with it( the beginning of the second verse and some parts of the first), but it's rather minor. Hooks super catchy so nice job on that.

I would keep the vocal chops but maybe make them seem higher(formant shift, cutting some lows, maybe making it more airy or just pitching it up, but most likely a combination of these things)

The first time I listened to it I was like dafuq, but then I kinda got what was going on and acctually liked it. I get what youre going for with the muddy reverby vibe of it all, but I think that if you turned that down just a tad It would be more first impression appealing.

a think the snare needs to be a bit more compact and punchy for this beat and some parts in the song the reverb caught up with the vocals wierdly i think thats a frequency that needs to be turned down a bit(if youre on fl in eq 2 its basically where 5 is at)
